Stanwell's Hans Christian Andersen pipes come included with both standard- and Churchwarden-length stems, making them versatile and easily modifiable to an individual's personal preference. Shape-wise, this particular example is a tall, stately Calabash, with a loftily posed bowl positioned at the fore of an upturned, tapering shank. It's presented in a crisp, dark rustication that provides plenty of tactile feedback for the fingers, save for the flared, overhanging rim, which is left smooth and stained a lighter color for contrast.
