About This Pipe
Before founding his brand, Neerup, Peder Jeppesen worked under the supervision of fellow Danish artisans Karl Erik Ottendahl and Erik Nørding. This bent Brandy is devoid of any Neerup nomenclature, meaning it was a personal creation of Jeppesen's, and with its "Handmade" and "High Grade" stamps, it's a meticulously crafted one at that. The fore of the bowl swells forward, stretching the rim into an oblong shape. Said bowl is paired to a thick, upturned diamond shank, which is joined by a short, stylized stem via an intricate silver fitment that makes excellent use of negative space. A rich, smooth finish dresses the stummel, providing a lovely backdrop for the impressive silverwork while accentuating the briar's handsome grain, which features mesmerizing maelstroms of birdseye and hearty tendrils of flame grain.
