Sara Eltang Smooth Rhodesian with Horn Tobacco Pipe

Rhodesians are typically pretty structured, but when designed and executed by Tom Eltang and Johannes Rasmussen, the artisans behind the Sara Eltang line of pipes, they can be remarkably creative and different, as seen here. Fine flame grain envelops the bowl, with straight lines of grain transforming to angled birdseye above and below the crisp, low waistline. A horn fitment provides a natural demarcation between the stummel and the saddle stem, while the transition is gradual and flowing, the bowl tall and prominent. Sara Eltang pipes represent more standardized shapes and sizes to reduce cost, but are still meticulously manufactured in Tom Eltang's Copenhagen workshop.
