Peter Stokkebye Smooth Billiard (G) (Stokkebye Family Collection) Tobacco Pipe

Jørgen Larsen spent the final stage of his pipe-making career crafting Peter Stokkebye pipes until he developed an unfortunate allergy to briar dust and was forced to retire. Larsen's early retirement caused Stokkebye pipes to become even more highly sought after, not just for their excellent quality but also for their rarity, making this Billiard a rather exciting find. It's also quite handsome with its tall, trim bowl and sleek shank-and-stem arrangement. The stummel showcases plenty of gorgeous grain throughout dressed in a rich, smooth finish, while a pair of accent bands adorns the shank, creating a sense of unity with the vulcanite stem.
