About This Pipe

This Bulldog from Comoy's Blue Riband series is among the "cream of the crop" for collectors worldwide. According to the workshop's catalog, only very few pipes are deemed fit to bear that name. This pre-1980 piece hews to the traditional shape chart standard, with its beadlines, breadth of bowl, and diamond shank. A warm, chestnut hue, revealing handsome striations of grain, commends the stummel, which is paired to an ebony, vulcanite stem, resulting in a reserved color palette.
