About This Pipe

Perhaps I am only speaking for me, but I find this shape not only wonderfully fascinating, but rather out of keeping from most of the other "out there" shapes that Charatan was known for during its Lane heyday. That step that you see on the bottom of the shank does contribute to sitting stability (it wobbles a bit, but you'd have to work fairly hard to tip it over). This grain is breathtaking!
