About This Pipe
This bent Dublin from Oxford is lightly sandblasted to bring out the growth rings and birdseye of the stummel, then finished in a glossy walnut hue. The conical bowl is canted forward, as is traditional of a Dublin, with an upturned ovoid shank out back and a sinuously bent stem of vulcanite to finish the piece. In addition to the bend of the stem, the low weight of the piece — just under an ounce and a half — makes it easier to clench in the jaw.
