Parker became successful in America in the 1930s and merged with Hardcastle after Dunhill opened a new factory next door. In this offering from Parker, a rich red stain gives the alternating cross grain and birdseye of this Billiard's stummel a distinct look, matched by the bowl's straightforward shaping and the fine silver accent that caps the brief shank. A very lengthy, tapered, push-style stem of vulcanite stretches this piece to all of six and one-third inches before reaching the bit.
