Even more diminutive than Peterson's "85" Apple design, the "84" is a slender and streamlined rendition with a more abbreviated shank that's well compensated by a longer style of tapered stem. Such features resemble the iconic Prince, but the bowl of the "84" remains taller and distinctly Apple-like — only on a smaller scale to the Irish marque's larger "86" and "87" Apple shapes.

One of Peterson's most traditional finishes, the Aran presents a color palette of chocolatey stain and jet-black stem. In this piece, the extra-craggy application presents raised peaks and dimpled grooves for a stimulating texture in hand, reminiscent of Peterson's rustications of old, and offers a no-nonsense aesthetic that's perfect for rugged, everyday use.
