About This Pipe
The silhouette of this Castello bent Pot is unmistakably the Italian workshop's revered "55" design — marked by a sweeping gesture and dramatically jutting heel. This particular example from 2019, though, adds subtle paneling to the lower bowl, tapering toward the base like the keel of a ship. Such shaping adds even more dynamic lines to the shape and also decreases the weight, making for a robust piece that's not uncomfortable when clenched.
