About This Pipe
The Caminetto workshop was founded by Luigi Radice and Guiseppe Ascorti in the late 1960s, the pair establishing the brand after a lengthy tenure with Castello. Caminetto pipes quickly became a success, their unique design language cementing them as one of Italy's most respected makers. They've become especially renowned for their craggy rustications, with many of their pipes showcasing highly textural carving across their stummels. Presented here is a deeply bent interpretation of the bent Egg shape, presenting a plump, forward canting bowl complete with comfortable, supple walls and a respectable chamber. Out back, the bowl is joined to a high-kicking shank-and-stem arrangement, its posture well-suited for comfortable jaw hanging. Caminetto's Business rustication grants the stummel a craggy, earthy complexion, with its reserved stain delightfully complementing the offset saddle stem's amber-toned acrylic.
