About This Pipe
Rinaldo pipes are handmade by brothers Elio and Guido Rinaldo. At an early age, the brothers moved from Sicily to Pesaro and began working under Mastro de Paja. After developing and perfecting their skills as craftsmen, the duo founded the Rinaldo workshop in 1987. Rinaldo pipes are known for their flamboyant Italian style and evocative finishes. Every Rinaldo pipe is fashioned from Mediterranean briar and fitted to an acrylic stem, with Guido leveraging his jeweling background to fashion all of the workshop's silver accents by hand.
This unique bent Apple was created to commemorate Rinaldo's 150th anniversary in 2011. It features a stylish accent along its base that reflects the colors of the Italian flag. The stummel is dressed in a crisp sandblast, which highlights the clear growth rings that ripple across the briar's surface.
