Translating to "The Circle" in English, Il Cerchio is an Italian marque founded by Angelo Del Prete. Del Prete handcrafts each pipe, prioritizing harmony, balance, and consistency — qualities shared with the brand's namesake. Il Cerchio pipes showcase multiple different influences across various schools of pipe design, with many Danish and Italian elements in particular. This bent Dublin perfectly blends the two styles, with a flared shank, stylized stem, and bowl-centric composition.
The bowl flares out broadly, its dense walls establishing an incredibly thick, subtly concave rim. The edges of said rim are crisply chamfered, as is the heel of the bowl, which informs the gracefully arcing shank. Said shank is joined by a push-style stem of jet-black vulcanite, which pairs perfectly with the stummel's inky sandblast for a cohesive, sophisticated with just a touch of ruggedness.
