Calabresi Metamorfosi Sandblasted Bent Billiard (2040) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Thomas Cristiano started working with pipes in the S.M. Frank factory on Long Island not long after he emigrated to the United States at age 16. He made Cristiano, Cristiano Signature, and Calabresi pipes from Tampa until his death in 2005. This Calabresi, a bent Billiard, features a shallow sandblasted finish that provides a soft touch while still allowing the fingers to easily follow the cross grain and birdseye of the bowl, the walls of which are almost Brandy-like in their proportions. A metal accent gives a gleaming touch of elegance to the stummel, which is paired with a vulcanite stem that tapers to a wide bit.
