Becker & Musico Sandblasted Rhodesian (1998) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Paolo Becker and Massimo Musico started a pipe shop in 1990 and began crafting Becker & Musico pipes together in 1995, with Paolo on the lathe and Massimo focusing on mouthpieces and bands. The partnership lasted until 2002 when Paolo turned to crafting pipes under his own name.

As with most Becker and Musico pipes, this Rhodesian features a sandblasted finish, emphasizing smart cross and flame grain across the bowl. Unusually, the bowl does not feature beadlines, blurring the line between the rim and the rest of the bowl but allowing the finish to continue unimpeded and giving a touch atypical of a Rhodesian. The vulcanite saddle stem melds well with the sleek line of the stummel's underside and ends with an especially flat bit.
