Luigi Viprati Smooth Bent Dublin (Four Clover) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

The late Italian pipe maker Luigi Viprati carved his first pipe in 1972 during his time in the military, having decided on a whim to purchase a block of briar and try his hand at the art of pipe making. This foray into the craft unlocked a lifelong passion, as well as an illustrious career. For decades, Viprati was a staple of Italian pipe making, fashioning striking pipes that fit seamlessly into the Italian neoclassical style. He produced several series, including the Collection Special and the Salvador Dali Collection — the latter of which he would add a limited-edition piece to every year, each one inspired by the works of the famous Surrealist painter. In addition to displaying the whimsical shaping of the Italian neoclassical style, Viprati's pipes also feature a variety of eclectic materials sourced from all over the world, including jade, bamboo, amber, and horn.
