About This Pipe
The stummel of this Pot from Capitello is rusticated except for a carved portion just below the rim and stained a warm reddish-brown that contrasts perfectly with the black acrylic of the saddle stem. The bowl is straightforward for the Pot shape, and the shank is round and muscular as it stretches back to the junction. It's a rather bowl-centric rendition of the classic shape, and one sure to please fans of fine Italian craftsmanship.
