About This Pipe
This bowl of this Freehand from Augusta takes on a unique shape: that of a convex circular triangle, with two round arcs drawing the flanks and a lightly rounded front. The stummel is also partially carved in thin lines crisscrossing the flame grain and birdseye, which are finished smoothly and stained to a very light brown. The stem is a black vulcanite saddle and meets a very short, upturned shank.
