About This Pipe
This bent Bulldog from Dutch brand Amphora is a straightforward but very handsome rendition of the classic shape. The bowl is stout and muscular, as is traditional, and the rim inflated to a moderate slope above the reed lines. The diamond-shaped shank is upturned to end at nearly the same height as the rim of the bowl, and the vulcanite saddle stem is bent just above the shoulders to allow the pipe to hang easier from the jaw. It's a well-made piece from Amphora, one that will definitely satisfy smokers looking for handiwork from a country they haven't tried before.
