About This Pipe
A Boston tobacconist launched in 1870, Peretti's started making its own pipes in the 1920s, and such celebrities as Walter Matthau, Basil Rathbone, and Bing Crosby shopped there. This Acorn is a lengthy rendition, its bowl subtly tapering from its high-set waistline down toward the heel. The grain is loosely oriented for cross grain, but there's a little of everything represented on this bowl.
