This Cherrywood from David Jones exhibits the subtlest of forward cants as its tubular walls rise from a flat, sure-sitting heel to a thick, birdseye-laden rim. Impressive tendrils of flame grain climb the walls of the bowl and streak the shank, which is joined by a deeply bent saddle stem with a lengthy bit. A smooth, ochre finish dresses the stummel, accentuating the briar's lovely grain and imbuing the pipe with warm, inviting color.
