About This Pipe

For years, Missouri Meerschaum has collaborated with American blending house Cornell & Diehl to craft corn cob pipes that combine distinctive design with durable, high-quality acrylic stems. These partnerships also celebrate C&D's Carolina roots and the region's long-standing tobacco tradition. The 2026 Charleston Cooper pays tribute to Charleston's historic cooperage industry.

During the 18th century, Charleston served as a hub for cooperage — the practice of making wine barrels. Stained the color of wine, the Charleston Cooper pipe features a chubby, Barrel-esque bowl at the end of a flaring shank and a gently curved stem. A subtle metal accent at the junction of stummel and stem adds a refined touch.

Note: While most of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
