Chasse Smooth (801) Tobacco Pipe

Ropp's "801" is a lithe bent Billiard, defined by its slender proportions and gently curved profile. The bowl maintains the classic Billiard's cylindrical chamber and gently rounded heel, while the bent transition into the shank and stem gives the shape a graceful, flowing posture. Its streamlined proportions and subtle shaping lend the design an understated elegance.

Named after the French word for "to hunt," Ropp's Chasse series takes its inspiration from traditional French hunting pipes, celebrated for their dramatically bent shank-and-stem arrangements. This pronounced curve allows the pipe to hang comfortably from the mouth, making it ideal for on-the-go smoking while tracking game or navigating the countryside. True to its heritage, the Chasse series emphasizes balance, hands-free comfort, and a distinctive silhouette. Available in both smooth and sandblasted finishes, each pipe offers handsome grain and rich visual character.
