About This Pipe
Founded in 1969 by former Castello employees Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, Caminetto has enjoyed years of success thanks to their unique, innovative approach that helped shape the Italian neoclassic carving style. Today, Guiseppe's grandson, Tommaso "Tommi" Ascorti, carries on the Caminetto legacy, handcrafting each pipe to perfection. This Event 2025 Volcano is one of the latest offerings from the Italian marque, and with its distinctive silhouette and eye-catching finish work, it's an excellent example of their bold, innovative style.
This Volcano iteration features an exceptionally thick, close-knit transition, whose cresting, upswept curvature lends the piece a unique silhouette when compared to Volcanoes from other workshops. A smooth, rich mahogany finish dresses the stummel, highlighting a wealth of attractive grain, while a broad, copper-hued band adorns the junction, its tone rather uncommon when it comes to metallic accents. With its palm-filling design, generous chamber depth, and upward-reaching stem, this Volcano is well-suited for long, laid-back smoking sessions.
