Smooth Natural Cauldron (02) (AT) Tobacco Pipe

The Caminetto workshop was founded by Luigi Radice and Giuseppe Ascorti in the late 1960s, the pair establishing the brand after a lengthy tenure with Castello. Caminetto pipes quickly became a success, their unique design language cementing them as one of Italy's most respected makers. The Cauldron shape is one that's readily associated with Italian pipe making, although carvers and marques from other countries have been known to put their own unique spin on the whimsical design. Caminetto has presented an excellent rendition with this piece. At its roots, the Cauldron resembles a plump Apple with a pinched waistline, but the rim is raised high. There's no shortage of chamber depth to be found within the towering bowl, while the stem allows for comfortable clenching. It's a thoroughly Italian design, with plenty of playful whimsy, from an esteemed Italian workshop, further enhanced by the handsome, honey-blonde stain, horn-colored accent, and tendrils of flame grain around the bowl.
