About This Pipe
Founded in 1969 by former Castello employees Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, Caminetto has enjoyed years of success thanks to their unique, innovative approach that helped shape the Italian neoclassic carving style. Today, Guiseppe's grandson, Tommaso "Tommi" Ascorti, carries on the Caminetto legacy, handcrafting each pipe to perfection. This bent Dublin is one of the latest offerings from the Italian marque, and with its distinctive silhouette and eye-catching finish work, it's an excellent example of their bold, innovative style.
This Dublin is quite sinuous in profile, with a trim, elongated bowl paired to a high-kicking shank and deeply bent stem. Despite its snaking, sprawling silhouette, this is actually quite a compact piece, measuring well under five inches in total length. As for its finish, the dark, inky rustication adds to the piece's air of understated elegance while also offering a touch of ruggedness.
