About This Pipe

Chubby and compressed, this bent Apple from Castello displays the beautiful shaping one expects from the Italian workshop. The affable, plump bowl offers plenty of chamber within thick walls in addition to feeling substantial in hand. Seamless and tight-knit, the muscular shank and gently downturned mouthpiece are pleasantly proportional to the bowl, with the entire composition showing handsome, soft curvature and amazing line work. This Old Antiquari piece is dressed in a dark, inky sandblast through the stummel, revealing growth rings rippling through the flanks of the bowl.
