About This Pipe
A lot of Max Rimensi's creations can take some time to track down, if you miss your chance at one, or wish to acquire a second. Simply put, as an eclectic artisan not tied down to any particular school, Max covers a lot of territory, and so doesn't repeat designs as frequently as most. With a few exceptions.
His low-slung (and most often morta) Bulldogs are the biggest of those exceptions; each one is a little different individually, but this is very much an established form for Max, and we can always expect at least a couple to turn up whenever he sends us new work. This is not the least bit surprising, both because this shape gets plenty of appreciation, and because if you're as variable in style as Max is, it probably does help all the more to have that one design everyone can spot and tie your name to right away.
