About This Pipe

Dunhill's taller straight Bulldog rendition is this "04" design, as opposed to the more squat and broad style of the English marque's "17" version. Oftentimes, the "04" has a more slender and sleek shaping style; however, this Group 5 example exudes stout muscularity. With plenty of chamber and substance, it's a firm-heeled, versatile pipe with no shortage of presence or chamber capacity. Dressed here in the Shell Briar's timeless sandblast, this example is further commended by 9mm drilling for those who prefer filtered pipes.

Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
