Pipes

J&J Artisan Pipes consists of John Klose and Jared Coles, two friends from the Central Valley of California. They met each other and found a common passion for Pipe Smoking. After completing their college degrees, the two schoolmates met back up shortly thereafter to gear up for the West Coast Pipe show in Las Vegas. Countless hours of research and development, practice, and some tutoring from Jeff Gracik finally came to fruition.

They craft their pipes from Mediterranean briar and shape them with a disk sander, utilizing many 'shape first, drill second' techniques. All of their stems are made by hand from German ebonite or cast acrylic and are fit with Delrin tenons. Their pipes are available either in smooth or rusticated finishes and can sometimes have accents of acrylic or exotic woods.
