About This Pipe
Mastro Geppetto is produced by Ser Jacopo at the Pesaro stalwarts' workshop, offering the bold, expressive style of Giancarlo Guidi's marque at accessible prices. A pioneer of the Pesaro school, named after the location of his workshop, Guidi and his partners elevated the more whimsical aspects of Italian neoclassic designs to new heights, creating an immediately recognizable aesthetic that continues to inspire. Although this piece leans towards the less expressive side of the workshop's typical production, it still features some striking finishing work and adept craftsmanship expected from a Ser Jacopo pipe. The profile is classic, featuring a tall, beadline-wrapped bowl at the fore of a round shank and sleek saddle stem. The stummel is adorned with a crisp sandblast, highlighting intricate cross-grain patterns throughout the bowl, while the acrylic stem's shimmering hues bring a vibrant touch of color to the piece.
