Liscia Rhodesian (1) Tobacco Pipe

Mastro Geppetto, a sub-brand of Ser Jacopo, produces handmade pipes with the same playful, inventive shaping as their parent brand, but at a more approachable price point. This Rhodesian is one of the latest offerings from the Italian workshop, and it's on the more reserved end of their portfolio in terms of both shaping and finish.

The characteristically high-waisted bowl stands pertly at the fore of an arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement, its crisply shaped walls housing a moderate chamber within. A lengthy, swiftly tapering stem of acrylic joins the stummel, its sleekness in profile shifting the composition's visual weight toward the bowl up front. A rich, smooth, chestnut finish dresses the stummel, highlighting a wealth of hearty grain and making for a classic, elegant color palette in conjunction with the jet-black stem.
