Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982, establishing a reputation for crafting high-quality briars known for their robust proportions and playful shaping cues. The Italian atelier's style has come to define the Pesaro method of pipe making. Each of their pipes is imbued with a unique character, reflecting the whimsical creativity that goes into their crafting. Mastro Geppetto is Ser Jacopo's sub-brand, offering more affordable-priced pipes while still maintaining a high level of workmanship. Crafted in the Ser Jacopo workshop, these pieces embody the playful Pesaro style of their pricier counterparts. In the typical Italian style, the bowl of bent Billiard is robust, providing ample space for filling the palm. The uplifted shank leads into a deeply bent saddle stem, ensuring a comfortable smoking experience. The stummel is finished smooth in a light stain, which highlights lively cross grain throughout.
