About This Pipe
A sub-brand of Ser Jacopo, Mastro Gepetto produces handmade pipes that showcase the same playful shaping as their parent brand, but at a more approachable price point. This paneled bent Apple is one of the latest offerings from the Italian workshop, and it showcases their penchant for crafting eye-catching pieces.
This offering possesses a plump bowl whose walls are framed by eight crisp facets, imbuing the traditionally supple shape with a bit of angularity and rigidity. Out back, the thick, rounded shank gives way to a lengthy, bent saddle stem fashioned from white acrylic, which adds a pop of brightness to composition. In contrast, the stummel wears a vivid auburn stain, which highlights a wealth of hearty grain throughout.
