Sandblasted Bent Billiard with Silver (Floodlight Special) Tobacco Pipe

The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic under the name Musico.

A classic rendition of the bent Billiard, this piece from Musico includes a proportionately tall bowl that rises dramatically from a plump heel. The undercurvature of the design creates a dynamic look in profile and also offers the smoker a more relaxed posture. The sandblast reveals undulating grain radiating across the bowl beneath an earthy brown stain, while the long, downturned stem is separated from that dark palette by a broad accent of silver.
