Peterson's "502" is a rarely produced shape, appearing infrequently over the years but possessing an immediately recognizable silhouette. Like the "86" and "87", the "502" is a trim and streamlined rendition of the Apple shape that trades the Irish marque's usual robust aesthetic for something far more lean. It's a handsome design that's rests comfortably in hand, offering a lightweight build and a sleek, affable look.

One of Peterson's most traditional finishes, the Aran presents a color palette of chocolatey stain and jet-black stem. In this piece, the extra-craggy application presents raised peaks and dimpled grooves for a stimulating texture in hand, reminiscent of Peterson's rustications of old, and offers a no-nonsense aesthetic that's perfect for rugged, everyday use.
