About This Pipe
Based in Pesaro, Italy, the Rinaldo workshop was founded in 1987 when two brothers, Elio and Guido Rinaldo left their positions at a large pipe-making company to start their own endeavor. Since establishing their workshop, they've never looked back, working alongside each other in harmony to produce around 1,500 pipes annually. This paneled bent Billiard is part of the workshop's Megas line, which is marked by larger-than-life shaping that's exceedingly bold and dramatic — even by Italian pipe-making standards.
This is a massive briar all around, with exceptionally thick walls that house a chamber well over two and a half inches deep. As such, this pipe is well-suited for countless long, laid-back smoking sessions. Rinaldo's Lithos finish dresses the stummel, with alternating panels of smooth, ruby-stained briar and dark, smoky rustication. A strikingly stylized stem tops off the composition, joining the shank via a standard tenon, though it almost has the look of a giant push-style mount. As bold in finish as it is in proportion, this bent Pot is sure to stand out from even the most crowded pipe rack.
