About This Pipe
Like the "904 KS," the "920 KS" is one of Savinelli's most striking and angular renditions of the bent Dublin. This piece hews closer to the classic English shape chart standard in its sinuous bend and curved transition, but the bowl continues the S-curve's momentum in its forward-urging posture. Full of dynamism, the bowl tapers dramatically into a defined heel, matching with the angle of shank for a well-balanced composition that highlights Savinelli's distinct approach to traditional shapes.
Translating to "moonstone" in Italian, Savinelli's Lunaria series is offered in two rich, Bordeaux-hued finishes — smooth and rusticated — each imparting a distinct visual character while preserving the collection's refined Italian sensibility. Accentuating the deep red stain, every pipe is fitted with a swirled gray methacrylate stem, its marbled pattern providing a modern counterpoint to the classic briar. An aluminum band at the shank junction adds a subtle metallic flourish, visually unifying the composition.
