This piece hews closer to the classic English shape chart standard in its sinuous bend and curved transition, but the bowl continues the S-curve's momentum in its forward-urging posture. Full of dynamism, the bowl tapers dramatically into a defined heel, matching with the angle of shank for a well-balanced composition that highlights Savinelli's distinct approach to traditional shapes.

Translating to "moonstone" in Italian, Savinelli's Lunaria series is offered in two rich, Bordeaux-hued finishes — smooth and rusticated — each imparting a distinct visual character while preserving the collection's refined Italian sensibility. Accentuating the deep red stain, every pipe is fitted with a swirled gray methacrylate stem, its marbled pattern providing a modern counterpoint to the classic briar.
