Siena (316 KS) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

The primary feature of a Pot is its broad tobacco chamber, and the Savinelli "316 KS" certainly fulfills that purpose. Particularly wide at the top, the chamber is conical, aligning with the shaping of the bowl, while the lithe shank and stem combination adds tasteful elegance through its curve. Savinelli's Siena line, named for the city in Tuscany, is one of the marque's most traditionally inclined and reserved series, finishing stummels in a warm, mahogany stain and pairing them to jet-black acrylic mouthpieces. Fitting its namesake, the line's stain resembles the red brick of Siena's Piazza del Campo, the city's main square, which features the Torre del Mangia, the second tallest medieval tower in Italy. Unlike the majority of Savinelli pipes that are drilled to accommodate 6mm filters, the Siena is composed of pieces that accept 9mm balsa filters.
