Review: PS306 English Oriental Supreme Pipe Tobacco
PS306 English Oriental Supreme by Peter Stokkebye is, in my opinion, one of the finest English blends available and easily my favorite tobacco in my entire rotation. This blend is exceptionally well balanced, combining mellow Georgian Virginias, Black Cavendish, Mexican Burley, Turkish Orientals, and Cyprus Latakia into a smooth, flavorful English mixture that can truly be smoked all day without fatigue. The Latakia is present but not overpowering, the Orientals add a slightly exotic, spicy character, and the Virginias provide just enough natural sweetness to keep everything in harmony. From a mechanical standpoint, this tobacco performs beautifully. It packs into the pipe easily, lights well, and once properly dried for a short period, it stays lit with very little effort. The burn is cool, smooth, and consistent from start to finish with no bite. The flavor profile is rich yet smooth — smoky, slightly sweet, mildly spicy, and very well rounded. It never becomes harsh or overwhelming, which is why it works so well as an all-day smoke. I have over 82 different tobaccos in my rotation, and I can confidently say that PS306 English Oriental Supreme is the best tobacco I have ever smoked. It is smooth, flavorful, reliable, and enjoyable every single time. This is a blend I always keep stocked and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys English or Oriental mixtures.
