Missouri Meerschaum - Eaton
Shorter than it looks
I didn't realize the stem would be so short,, the bowl so small yet very deep. It's hard to get it to smoke properly. I should've spent the extra couple bucks for a bent stem. Oh well.
Tatuaje - Havana VI Verocu No. 5
Well made but not for me
It is a quality cigar, very well made. It smokes perfectly. It also just punches you in the nose with burnt coffee flavors and bitter nut taste. Very robust. Not my thing but maybe you'll like it?
Velvet - Velvet 1.5oz
What a surprise
I can't explain how shocked I was at the taste of Velvet. Just an incredibly smooth mellow smoke perfect for after dinner on the daily. The room note is also very pleasant, leathery and light. I can't recommend this enough especially at this price!
Macanudo - Court Cafe
Nice N Smooth
A very light and smooth flavor, nutty and earthy with a slightly sweet finish. A slightly quick burn is the biggest drawback. At around 5 bucks you can't really beat it.
Captain Earle's - Honor Blend 2oz
Won't get fooled again
The first bowl I packed of Honor Blend I didn't like at all. I didn't like the cake. I didn't like the smell. I didn't like the taste. I thought it was way to strong and just tasted of combustion and cigarettes. I couldn't believe all the glowing reviews. What was I missing? This stuff is awful. After a couple days I reluctantly packed another round and what a difference! I can't believe how much the entire experience improved on the second try. What an amazing blend. It's smooth, light and a bit peppery. Just a great straight ahead mellow draw. Almost no bite and beautiful white smoke. Some of the best tobacco I've ever tasted. Just let it breathe a for minute. 5 out of 5, Fantastic!!
BriarWorks - Cherry Cobbler 2oz
Not very cherry
Although it comes in a very unique mason jar, I'm afraid this one isn't as good as it looks. I was expecting big flavor and sweetness but found both lacking. The room note was also surprisingly bland. I'm giving it a 3 because it is very smooth and stays lit evenly. Also very little bite. But just average overall. Not worth the slightly higher price.
