About This Pipe Tobacco
Captain James Earle first took to sea at age 12, embarking on a life-long passion that saw him ascend to the rank of Master of the Charles W. Morgan, the last of the wooden whaling ships, currently docked in Mystic, Connecticut. Manufactured by Cornell & Diehl, Captain Earle's pipe tobaccos pay tribute to his legacy, each blend in the series alluding to an important time in his life.
Named after Honor Matthews, Capt. Earle's wife, Honor Blend is an all natural, stoved mixture of Red Virginias, Orientals, Cavendish, and Perique — all pressed into an old-fashioned crumble cake for easy preparation.

er a couple days I reluctantly packed another round and what a difference! I can't believe how much the entire experience improved on the second try. What an amazing blend. It's smooth, light and a bit peppery. Just a great straight ahead mellow draw. Almost no bite and beautiful white smoke. Some of the best tobacco I've ever tasted. There’s a lot of great notes in this blend. I love the cakes GL presents. They are easy to break up and load. Moist tobacco and stays lit.
