Peterson - Irish Flake 50g
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would.
Picked up a tin for St Patrick’s day because Irish. Maybe it’s because I come from a cigar smoking background but I found the warning about this being for experienced pipe smokers to be rubbish. I really enjoyed this one and am glad to see it on here reliably in stock. This is something I’ll be smoking on more than just St Patrick’s day from now on.

Easy win for new pipe smoker.
Still new to the game and I know my techniques need work, but so far this has been the winner. Withstood my amateur packing job and smoked well enough that I got no bite, no sour juice in the pipe, and the flavor shined through. And as a bonus, the wife actually enjoyed the smell of this one. I’m sure my preferences will change as I get better at pipe smoking and start getting good sessions with non-aromatics, but for now this one is an easy choice.
