Cherry explosion! From the char light to the last sip there is cherry flavor. Chocolate is muted until toward the end of the bowl where it slowly creeps up on you. Other than the cherry / chocolate, I got nothing, no tobacco flavors.

remnants from this blend. I would stay away from this unless you really Love cherry and chocolate. The burn was amazing. A lot of gurgle in the beginning, so be sure to keep a pipe cleaner at hand. I was shocked to feel no tongue bite. But I had to waste clean my pipe using a lot of pipe cleaners to remove the cherry flavors for my next smoke. Don’t use this on your favorite pipe unless you don’t mind the cherry flavor stain in your future smokes. Read Less

第一斗抽的时候感受到了浓厚的樱桃味道，但是没有发现巧克力味道。又抽了几次就发现了潜藏在里面的巧克力味。品质很好的调味草，不咬舌，燃烧温度低。缺点是这草的味道太大，烟斗得在通风处吹上两天味道才基本消失，否则会对别的草有影响。

ch for that 20 year single malt to pair it with. You'll just stick it in your pipe and smoke it. Don't' stick it in a briar that you want to use for something else as it ghosts heavily. Don't buy this if you're the (English accent) "Charles, the Latakia interplays wonderfully with the bright Virginias and I can taste the woody, smoky dog shit, and spicy stale NYC subway piss smell throughout the bowl" kind of pipe smoker. I like English, Balkans, Aros and even some Burley blends and usually smoke upwards of 4-6 bowls a day. This stuff is good for what it is. Read Less

It has a rich cordial cherry flavor but even though it smells and looks like it's incredibly heavy on the topping it does not come with any of the downsides that usually follow those it does like to be burnt Slow and Low but is forgiving if you get a little excited. As I said this is one of my go-to's and I always have a tin of it with me in my pipe roll. it out good and have no ghosting. With that said, years ago I used to enjoy a house blend from Tinder Box called Black Cherry. That blend was wonderful because it tasted like a warm cherry pie working with the tobacco, not overpowering and eliminating it. It didn't taste like medicine or artificial chemicals like this Blood Red Moon does. Now, if you enjoy cherry flavored cough drops or medicine, this may be a good choice for you. Thought it might be better if mixed with some straight Virginia - and it is - but still the cherry is totally married to the BC, so the more cherry you get the more BC. Very strong and artificial. For my palette, the tobacco is lost and a medicinal cherry taste is all there is. I'll say this, if you're super into cherries, this one packs a cherry punch from start to finish. Only needs one relight about halfway down or more after you pour out some ash. Not for me.
EDIT: After cellaring, this a lot better. I've found it's best use---adding a little to vanilla tobaccos! The cherry can be a little too much on its own, but a just a tiny bit makes a vanilla smoke pretty magical. Read Less

avy metal pipe tobacco. The result of twisting off that lid and being assaulted by that nuclear cherry stench really threw me off!! There is only one way though, to tell if you like it... xception burned like a grass fire in August and tasted like cherry cough drops. They were horrifyingly awful to say the least. As years past I started smoking Lane's TK-6 which is not terrible on it's own but becomes a great aro when blended with a few other tobaccos. Cult Red Blood Moon reminds me very much of my TK-6 / BCA / LL-7 mixture. The Cult offering smokes cool, has a pleasant taste and delightful room note. Upon opening the tin you are greated with the artificial odor of cherry flavoring, but don't let that fool you. It tastes and smokes much better than it smells in the tin. If it wasn't for the fact that it is so similar to my usual blended mixture I would definitely buy it again. Read Less

nd of it I was up the creek. Waited 5 days for it to disappear completely and, just to verify it was the tobacco smoked about a 10th of a bowl and waited ten minutes. A much smaller rash came back. Clearly I personally have an allergy to something in this blend and it is not a total product failure (please do not think I am implying anything like that). most identical to the way it smells, but smoke it slowly of course. It burns nice and has an amazing aroma. I decided to be a troll at work and held the last puff in my mouth from the smoking area and walked into the building from my break. I ducked down next to a friend and puffed it out. After a short cough, he and everyone within a 10m radius kept sniffing the air. I threw a pen at a guy who claimed it was an e-cigarette, but I digress. It missed anyway.
But in all honesty, if you like the taste of sweet and slightly sour hard candy, it tastes like one called "Heartbreakers", and I guarantee you will like it at the very least.
