Too good to use for experimental blending but great for previous self blends

I ordered to with the intent of using it for blending. I filled a bowl to taste test it so I'd know what I was dealing with. This is fine all alone and will go into my rotation as is. Best Black Cavendish I've ever tasted. I will use this for my own blends that have worked for me in the past, FI: 1Q, RLP6 and this in equal amount and allow it to age for 3 months or 7Seas Regular and this @ 3:1.ready to smoke immediately but does need to dry a bit before packing. Mellow is an understatement. BCA is perfect for anyone who wants to start piping. It smells and tastes like an aromatic without behaving like one. It burns slow, cool and even which makes for an enjoyable experience while you learn your cadence and grow an appreciation for the art. BCA is easily the best black cavendish on the market, but as the palate matures, one may find it a tad bit boring. Ruined a Favorite Pipe

Not a fan of this at all. Smells great in the bag and the jar, but in the bowl it smells awful and tastes even worse. I believe there is some real vanilla in it, but there's also a very bitter, oily chemical all over it. It's horrid and it sticks to everything — prep surfaces, fingers, clothes, tampers, pipes. It ruined one of my most favorite pipes, even though it was only sprinkled in as a condiment. Can't exorcise it. It's so nasty, makes everything taste awful. So wasn't sure if I'd enjoy a straight Cavendish. Man, I was wrong. While not complex smoke it was very pleasant and smooth. Makes a great morning sipper while sipping on my favorite Earl Grey. It stayed lit right out of the bag with no relights needed and had no tongue bite. I'll be buying more of of this soon....Read More

Love this stuff. A sweet but not too sweet aromatic and doesn't goop up your pipe. Enough nic to satisfy but won't make your head spin. I'll definitely be buying a lot more.

The Limited BCA is a great tobacco! I normally do not smoke it alone, however. One of my favorite blends is to have two parts BCA blended/mixed with one part Prince Albert. Yes, I realize that some of you may think "Prince Albert, that is a cheap tobacco."
