Great for Beginners!

Product: Cornell & Diehl Autumn Evening 2oz

Autumn Evening is a delightful blend. It starts off subtle and really kicks off around the middle of the bowl. Very warm and pleasant experience. I smoked this from one of my Servi Meerschaum pipes and really got the raw flavor of this blend. Once you hit about the middle of the bowl, you get a nice big rush of maple and caramel flavors. The room note is what really caught me off guard, even with such thick smoke it smells quite pleasant, I've enjoyed this at a park and have had people stop by and asked what it was because it smelled pleasant. At the very end of the bowl I often get a straight, raw taste and if you smoke this too quickly, it definitely will bite....Read More

Well-balanced aromatic - a must-have for cooler nights!

Product: Cornell & Diehl Autumn Evening Bulk

This is one of my favorite aromatics and it smokes well in all my pipes, including a small meerschaum that can over-dry the smoke of others. This is a must-try, and IMHO a must-have for cooler evenings. It pairs especially well with a maple cream foam cold brew!

One of the only Aeros I enjoy

Let me start off by saying when I first started smoking a pipe, I did what most do tried aromatics, I almost quit the same week until I discovered Virginia Virginia perique , English blends. I’ve smoked a pipe off and on for about 15 years only the last four years it’s been more of a lifestyle than a hobby so I started dabbling in aromatics again and I’ve had only a few that I like this is one of my favorites by far. You can still taste all of the Virginia’s when you sip it slowly you get the nutty and toffee caramel maple goodness. I often resort to this when I’m with some of my family and some of my friends that don’t particularly care for some of the blends that I smoke I smoked this at my son’s football games and occasionally when we’re some of his karate matches every time I spoke as I get at least five or six compliments and asking what I’m smoking. I really hate how people get on here and bash some of these blends mean if it’s not for you it’s not for you. Why did you even try it? If you know you’re not gonna like it did you do it just for something to talk about? I mean come on guys people that want real opinions come here to look and see what we think you can give you your review but don’t bash it grow up I’ve gotten blends that I really didn’t care for, but I give my review on it letting people know what I think of it what it taste like to me I don’t sit and cry about it. We’re all grown-ups on here. Act accordingly cheers....Read More

Lovely smoke!

Autumn evening, a new pipe, and a new tobacco. I’m still relatively new to the pipe-smoking hobby, but I’m starting to appreciate the little things that make a blend stand out. Trying this for the first time in a new Molina Shorty, and this is a lovely find. The flavor profile is brilliant. As others have noted, the maple and caramel really come through, especially as the bowl progresses. Great room note, an easy smoke, and a blend that doesn’t require much work to enjoy. Really impressed with this one. Definitely looking forward to spending more time with it....Read More

A fine example of a very sweet aromatic tobacco

If you like candy this is for you. I dedicate a couple pipes to aromatics with similar vanilla, caramel, maple flavors. Not the very best aromatic, but works in a pinch when you feel like something sweet without too much nic.
