点火后：柑橘、青草、木质味、坚果、花生、糖浆、泥土、蜜香、香料、焦香、面包。
口腔里面能感受到：柑橘的果酸，糖浆与蜂蜜的甜味，口腔里面有淡淡的烟草味，微苦。
烟气方面：整体轻柔、凉爽，过鼻的时候有适量的烟熏感，燃烧稳定缓慢，风味持续。
总的来说风味保持的很好，前2/3都是很明显的新鲜水果带着些许坚果糖的香气，后1/3是面包与焦香，一斗下来香气与燃烧保持的很好，少许水汽，不会咬新手也能很好的控制尾端会有一些些劲道。

cely. It does need a bit of drying time. After that it does pack well, I fold and stuff. It takes a light nicely and burns cool and evenly. It can bite a bit if you push it. As it's a flake it's meant to be smoked slowly. Overall it's a great blend that I try to keep a tin of around at all times. Read Less

The vanilla fragrance is strong out of the tin. But the taste is exceptional. Sip it slow and it is so tasty. Sip it harder and it is still a great tobacco. One I will keep in the rotation for sure

nd a bit tricky to load, but once it's lit you are in for a quiet, smooth-burning and flavorful ride. I will definitely keep some of this around, and watch for similarly well made aromatic flakes from MacBaren. I would recommend this to my flake-loving fellows who get the occasional itch to re-live their pipe-smoking "youth" smoking vanilla flavored aromatics. cesses. This does it! It’s a more natural smoke. The vanilla is not overpowering. It is subtly sweet. Importantly, the room note and “beard residue” will not lead to divorce. The tin note is certainly of vanilla. The flake gives you the feel of high quality. It burns well unless you work it hard, it will get a bit wet and hot if you do. ld be my problem and not the blend, I just needed to say that for the new pipe tobacco smokers smokers. I found for my pallet no matter how slow I smoked it I found the bite very harsh. The aroma was okay upon opening opening, nothing at all like the aroma I get from other tobacco Blends like Nutty Irishman, Peter stokkebye luxury twist flake flake. Mac Baren Vanilla Cream is one of Mac Barens best aromatics. It has a good vanilla flavor, but can burn hot. Dry this one out before smoking.

At first it was ok, but after the 5th bowl, I just kept wanting more. And the smoke was harsh as I am a beginner, but it was not bad and just keeps getting better. Overall, a good step back from my sweet dessert blends!

This is a good tasting flake and the vanilla doesn't overpower the sweetness of the Virginia. The only drawback is the severity of bite as compared to, say MacBaren's Virginia Flake.

I would have never known there was any Cavendish in this at all had I not been told there was, it just strikes my palate like a really nice bright and summery VaPer with a very daintily applied hint of natural vanilla and possibly coconut flavoring lingering in the background. This is not your typical wet and goopy aromatic, it comes packed and appears just like any other high quality Virginia flake, and smokes just as well. Slow burning, smooth on the retrohale, and surprisingly bite-free. Virginias have always had a tendency to nip me a little but this one has been kind and gentle on the tongue. The nicotine hit from this one is fairly mild as well, though obviously noticeable and stronger than most aromatics. I'd say it's comparable to Orlik Golden Sliced or any other VaPer that goes light on the Perique. The only complaint I could really make about Mac Baren Vanilla Flake is that about halfway through the bowl the vanilla background note diminishes to the point of being barely noticable and what you're left with is just a really nice quality Virginia flake, but maybe that's not such a bad thing depending on your taste preferences. I don't think I'll be buying this one again, since I'm just not much of a VaPer or pure Virginia guy and would like a little Burley in the mix, but for those Virginia and VaPer fans looking for something a little different and lightly aromatic then I can definitely see Mac Baren Vanilla Flake being just the thing. It’s the best vanilla blend I’ve had. The topping isn’t shy, but not cloying either. But it’s the underlying tobaccos that make it so great. That rich tobacco flavor is always there, and I bet an untopped version would be a superb Virginia flake.

I generally don’t like aromatics. It is a mild tobacco, aroma is amazing. Baked goods, cherries? Chocolate, camp fire? Vanilla? That’s what everyone tells me I smell like. It’s mild vanilla subtle tobacco that hasn’t burnt me yet.
