Formed in the aftermath of the U.S. Civil War and serving with great distinction until the advent of WWII, they were known far and wide as "Buffalo Soldiers." Just the right proportions of Latakia and Perique enhance a base of naturally sweet Virginias to create a well-rounded, all-day blend.

ed with exciting perique spikes of spicyness, and a blanket of savory smoky goodness from the latakia. This is comparable to C&D's Bayou Night, although I think this blend has more of a "mellow" vibe, versus Night's "funky adventure".
My single gripe is that this isn't offered in a Flake, which is purely my preference.

I like the strength of this one. It's a middle-English, if you will, with Latakia in the background. I found it a little dry-tasting for me, almost a chalky sort of taste, but I got used to that and came to like it. This mixture burns very nicely, too.
