Established in 1865 in Horsens, Denmark and finally acquired in 2000 by Orlik, Alfred & Christian Petersen was a family-run company that enjoyed success with blends such as Caledonian Curly Cut, Original Navy Cut, Paul Olsen's "My Own Blend" tobaccos, and, of course, Escudo Navy De Luxe. Escudo, our only entry under the A & C Petersen brand, was not originally blended by the Petersens, nor is it now, but A & C Petersen is the name most associated with the tobacco, so this is where we've left it.
